This is a fun book full of easy to make felt accessories for office, home, travel, and gifts. Projects include a computer mouse pad, note card holder, a pencil case for a three-ring binder, coffee cup holder, luggage tags, cell phone cover, photo envelope, knitting needle case, and book cover, to name a few.

Nice little book with small projects. I have all my craft books spiral bound for easy use. This one comes spiral bound, however every page was glued together and the book is a mess. Check your book on arrival and don't hesitate to send it back.

The instructions are clear, templates are included, and there are color photos of each project. I like that the book is spiral-bound so it lays open, making it easy to read the instructions while working on a project. Most of the projects use regular felt found in crafts stores but instructions are also given for shrinking wool items into felt, as well as for the simple embroidery stitches used. All the materials used are easily found at any large craft store such as Michael's or Hobby Lobby.

Some of the finished projects seem more appropriate for kids than adults, and others I wouldn't bother with such as a holder for a contact lens case or a passport holder, but they are all useful and give a whimsical, artistic, and original touch to a variety of accessories.

I found several projects I will enjoy trying, and am thinking of making book covers for sketch books with matching pencil or crayon holders as Christmas gifts for some of the kids in our extended family. I think many of the projects would be easy enough for older children to make on their own for handmade gifts.
