I enjoyed this book for years as a mother of 4 and one who enjoys entertaing and serving others. I was disappointed to discover it apperatly disappeard during a move. I'd buy it again. The concepts taught in this book are excellent theology for good stewardship and service to others as well as wise use of resources. The creative and wise cook will enjoy the many varieties offered in this book.

This cookbook has so many choices and various recipes using a basic foundation. My mother put this book through the test when she would cook for our family of 8. Now that I have my own family I am wanting to use it too. Have you ever had Home-made granola? Not many people have. But with this cookbook you can. I can still smell it baking.

I work at a rehab center for the mentally disabled. Theis book is a godsend for us! It is so easy to have the mixes all ready to put together! We serve a different number of clients each meal and it is wonderful to know how many servings each recipe will make each time. This is just a wonderful book to have for a group setting or just yur own family!

I purchased this book because I like to have things made ahead; I'm always working or watching the grandkids. Too tired to come home and make a big meal. With this book, I can have bisquits, cornbread, cookies, soup, in just a little bit of time, simply by using the mix plus add-ons, like an egg, water. So quick and easy. I highly recommend this first book. Have made a lot of the mixes and use them a lot.

I purchased this book as a gift. I already own a copy and like it very much. I used to use it much more before I retired. I also own the More Make-A-Mix book. Both are excellent.

After years of use, my old MAKE-A-MIX COOK book gave out,

so had to get a new one.

I use this book all the time.

This time I will keep it in better shape.

Ordered this book because I borrowed my sister's too often and decided it is a must have for my own reference. Great gift-giving and low cost ideas. Recipes are tasty!

I love this cook book.It has stuff for crowds or storage all with common stuff.I felt like I had stumbled onto someones secret book.Great gift ideals for making up homemade mixes.

If you can possibly find a copy of this cookbook--buy it! They are rare, but they ARE out there from used book sellers.

Today is Thanksgiving and I've made up the dinner rolls from this cookbook. They are a family tradition now. I've baked from this cookbook for years and love the convenience of its wonderful mixes. I've made several of the mixes and have always been more than happy with them. I HIGHLY recommend this book to busy moms/cooks.

I also have used this book since the early 80's. The mixes are great and are such a time saver. One of the best recipes for pancakes is so easy to make.
