You covered most if not all aspects of making a living writing ebooks, from idea conception to writing, editing, compiling and marketing the finished product.
You don't stop with the marketing techniques that everyone else talks about you include a LOT of different ways to market, but you forgot one thing, the fluff.
Thanks for all the hard work I know that went into your eCyclopedia on ebook writing and marketing."
George Wright
"Scott has done what I didn't think was possible! ...the most complete guide I've ever seen, it also covers all of the questions, challenges, and sticking points you'll experience in creating an ebook.
No stone has been left unturned in this "Ebook Publishing Bible", it literally condenses years of trial and error, experience, and killer tips into a single reference.
Not only is this a step-by-step guide for anyone wanting to create their first Ebook, it's also a perfect desk reference for the seasoned veteran."
John Koen
This is without a doubt the most comprehensive guide I've read. I was up half the night reading; it's that good.
As someone who is in the process of creating my own ebook, I can tell you I'll be referring back to this on a daily basis. ...literally walks someone through step by step, and unlike so many others I've seen, explains in great detail each step, as well as highlighting pitfalls to avoid.
The amount of quality information in this ebook is astonishing, and I have no doubt that even if a person had absolutely no experience in writing ebooks (or even where to start) they will be a pro by the time they finish yours. With the amount of information and insight you provide, maybe you should call this an e-cyclopedia.
Keep up the good work, I'm off to start writing!"
Andy Robinson
"Wow, I've never seen a book provide as much value as this one. Scott covers every single aspect of the ebook authoring game, including at LEAST 5-10 things I hadn't even considered until I read it. He even tells you how to format your word processor, how to choose the right text for your book, and so much more...he's really gone above and beyond. ... I cannot tell you how valuable this manual is. If you can't use this book to recover the cost of its purchase, then you are in the wrong business!"
Nathan Hangen
"Scott Boyd has written a fantastic and thorough guide to writing and publishing eBooks. It is comfortably laid out for the reader, and offers advice that I have not seen in other publications. I recommend this book to anyone who is serious about their own writing ventures."
Andrea Riffle
"Writes with an informal, friendly, easily-understood style that is direct and compelling.
For example, just his "Hot-Tips-File" idea is huge, relating to any topic you could write an article or ebook on.
Well-written, well-presented, well-thought-out. ...well worth the time and effort to read and study."
Dot Pecson
"To sum up Scott's book about all I can say is WOW! If you have ever thought about writing your own ebook then this is a must have. Not only does Scott cover ever little detail you can imagine, he almost holds your hand as he gives you a step by step guide for you to follow along with. This is hands down the most informative book that I have come across that deals with writing ebooks."
Bryan Zimmerman
"Scott's guide is by far the best guide I've ever read on how to write ebooks. He takes you step by step and leaves no stone unturned. If you want to know how to successfully write and publish your ebook pick up a copy today."

One look at the table of contents would make a person think that this book is a course in writing ebooks. This is not the case. While the author does include information on a number of topics, the information is general and wrapped up in just a few sentences. Each topic in a chapter is pretty much summed up by the topic header. For instance, a header of "Adding security to your sales sight" will just say that it is a good idea to add security to your sales sight because hackers try to get your information. Then there will be two or three filler sentences to seemingly beef up the paragraph. This does not happen in all sections, but it happens in most.
My other complaint is that the book talks a lot about editing and professional appearance, yet the book I received has many editing errors in it. Within just the first few pages there are spelling and grammar mistakes, as well as sentences that are oddly and extremely spaced out throughout the book. The print is also big, adding to the count of pages, but not to the quality of content. This is definitely not a comprehensive book and the video tutorials DO NOT EXIST ! I typed in the web page exactly as it is in the book and it does not exist. I tried multiple browsers and still, it does not exist. I do not know if he changed the web address or if he simply does not sell enough ebooks to keep his site afloat. The only good thing this book has going for it, is that the individual headers did make me think of topics that I otherwise would not have thought of. However, learning anything of specific value about those topics is going to take further independent research. At most this book should cost 6 dollars. I want my money back.

The best and shortest word to describe this books is Wow! What a lot of information and hands-on how-to's. I've marked so much of the book with little yellow sticky notes it looks more like a porcupine than a book. Thanks, Scott -- we needed this.

It was a good attempt at sharing knowledge; however, it was too basic to be beneficial. I am donating it to the Sacramento Society for the Prevention to Animals for their annual book sale in April. Maybe it would be of use to someone else.
