One look at the table of contents would make a person think that this book is a course in writing ebooks. This is not the case. While the author does include information on a number of topics, the information is general and wrapped up in just a few sentences. Each topic in a chapter is pretty much summed up by the topic header. For instance, a header of "Adding security to your sales sight" will just say that it is a good idea to add security to your sales sight because hackers try to get your information. Then there will be two or three filler sentences to seemingly beef up the paragraph. This does not happen in all sections, but it happens in most.

My other complaint is that the book talks a lot about editing and professional appearance, yet the book I received has many editing errors in it. Within just the first few pages there are spelling and grammar mistakes, as well as sentences that are oddly and extremely spaced out throughout the book. The print is also big, adding to the count of pages, but not to the quality of content.

This is definitely not a comprehensive book and the video tutorials DO NOT EXIST ! I typed in the web page exactly as it is in the book and it does not exist. I tried multiple browsers and still, it does not exist. I do not know if he changed the web address or if he simply does not sell enough ebooks to keep his site afloat.

The only good thing this book has going for it, is that the individual headers did make me think of topics that I otherwise would not have thought of. However, learning anything of specific value about those topics is going to take further independent research.

At most this book should cost 6 dollars. I want my money back.

The best and shortest word to describe this books is Wow! What a lot of information and hands-on how-to's. I've marked so much of the book with little yellow sticky notes it looks more like a porcupine than a book. Thanks, Scott -- we needed this.

It was a good attempt at sharing knowledge; however, it was too basic to be beneficial. I am donating it to the Sacramento Society for the Prevention to Animals for their annual book sale in April. Maybe it would be of use to someone else.

I bought this book back in March and read it through, although I didn't do any great amount of writing. That was due to specific circumstances regarding the book I am writing. After reading the book a second time, I was duly impressed with the information. For me, it's a great motivational tool, a technical manual, and the artistic part, how to write to an audience of one. I have two other similar books and they do not really compare to Scott Boyd's Write and Sell Ebook Guide.

If you get this book, I recommend that you get the 30 day action plan. This gives you a workable structure and timetable to get the job done. For being a great guide and for Scott having an impeccable attitude of service, this book rates a solid 5 stars.

I've read a number of books and ebooks about how to create information products to sell online, particularly ebooks. I love to write, love the internet, and purchase ebooks myself to help me learn new things, so it seemed like a good fit.

I found this by far the most accessible and complete guide to knowing what to write about, formatting, search engine optimization, ClickBank, etc.

So many ebook guides focus only on one aspect of writing your ebook, like how to get motivated, how to do keyword research, etc, and while that is all extremely important to get in-depth info on, I'd say this would be the one book you should start with if you want to write ebooks and sell them online, because Scott covers the entire process and anticipates common stumbling blocks along the way. It's deceptively simple, because he doesn't go overboard to where a beginner would get confused, but he does cover what I feel are the most helpful tips in getting your ebook done and out there.

Is everything you'll need to know in this book? Definitely not. Is there enough here to get you selling your first ebook or three? Absolutely.

I'm particularly grateful for a few of the tips for using Word effectively to write and format ebooks. Scott gave some non-intuitive tips that he learned along the way that helped me focus on my writing and not get hung up on how to do things in Word.

Have read a few books on Ebook creating and marketing and this book is by far the most informative. The book is written in an easy to understand manner. To get the most from it, read it twice.

This is without doubt the most comprehence book I have ever read on the subject of writing ebooks. All the key aspects of writing,editing. publishing,promoting,selling,and much more are explained better and in detail than they were in any of the other books I have read. This book saved me many hours of research and many dollars by not having to buy so many reference books

I have read many types of reference books (technical and others). This book is a must for everyone. It is written in a format that anyone can understand. If you are interested in writing ebooks or just want to understand the process you must read this one. It is definitely worth the price... you won't be disappointed!

I started reading this book and couldn't put it down. There was more information in this book than any that I have read before on how to write books, or how to write ebooks. It is written in simple terms so that anyone with limited computer knowledge can follow along. It is my number one reference book. I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in getting into this business, and anyone who is in the business and needs all the right information in one spot instead of all over the place. BUY IT. At this price it is a steal.
