More About the Author

I have been writing since 1985, starting with string of magazine articles (of which I think I ended up writing around 200) and then, with the help of my wonderful agent, moving on up to full-length books. I ended up being the author of a dozen published titles in both fiction and non-fiction genres with publishers including the likes of Hamish Hamilton and Virgin. All these years later, it's now rather fascinating to see some of my old books available with various booksellers on Amazon... some, curiously, for rather esoteric prices!

In 1990, in amongst my other works, I had three Sherlock Holmes hardback fiction books published, which achieved modest critical acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic. Now in 2012, with renewed interest in the great detective, I have made the first two available on the KINDLE. They are called "Sherlock Holmes Revisited - The Hitherto Unchronicled Adventures - Volumes One and Two. I do hope you'll give them a try and let me know if you enjoy them through writing a review or two.

By the mid 1990's, after the flush of early success, writing had to take something of a back seat as I decided to work full-stretch to develop my own music franchise business from scratch. The resulting award-winning international business grew into something beyond anything I could have imagined. I have now passed the whole caboodle to my super-capable daughter, and thus I'm very fortunate to find that, after twenty years or so, I'm blessed with the time to devote to writing all over again, and thus become involved in the exciting changes that are sweeping the publishing industry.

My current writing project is a children's adventure fiction book for the 9-12 "tweens" age group.
