Linda's book is fun and interesting to read. After reading it you really believe that you can take the initiative and start your own business and have fun doing it at the same time. Linda takes you step by step through the process of finding and selling items in such a manner that "You too can do this". This is a "must read" for anyone who loves to go to flea markets, yard sales, and auctions. Enjoy reading-----------Steve

Interesting reading but I didn't find anything new in her technique of buying and selling. There were some good web sites listed as a reference otherwise consider this a light, easy read. Sorry.

As someone who has supported himself off of trading cards on eBay for a stretch of time, I was thinking of diversification. Unfortunately I've found that in America, after about 2007, antique dealers and antique malls have learned to use eBay themselves, so the deals spotlighted in the book are much, much rarer. Auctions are the way to go... but executors are also familiar with eBay and the auctioneer usually signs some form of consignment deal based on real prices (at least in my area). Best auctions are storage lockers, but only if you can identify, and the book does not teach identify except for a semi-useful list of websites you can also get with skill at google-fu.

Good advice for people new to reselling, but nothing an experienced eBayer hasn't seen before.
