1.0 out of 5 stars Not enough detail July 16, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
I found this how-to lacking in detail. There was more fluff than information; wish I could ask for a refund of the time I spend perusing it.

4.0 out of 5 stars I Liked This Book March 1, 2013
By StCraig
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
For me, this book was more about a developing a writing lifestyle than direct writing advice. It showed me how to think of myself as a writer and what the writing life should look like rather than telling me what to write and where to go to get my information published. There were topics such as "Eight Things NOT to Say to an Editor" "Five Things a Writer can Learn from American Idol"

There are other books that are more direct with advice given. I liked this book because it was a bit more creative than other writing books. Rather than give me a direct way to get to my destination (like MapQuest) it gave me a map with information about destinations, roads, and different modes of transportation. But it was up to me to chart my own course.
