I am a long-time writer and editor. For many years, I was a financial writer for magazines and newspapers, including the online Wall Street Journal and the New York Times, and for companies in the financial services industry, including Merrill Lynch. Before that, I edited the Wall Street Journal for a Dow Jones financial data service.
My latest book, Miracles and Moments of Grace: Inspiring Stories from Military Chaplains, released in March 2011. It is a collection of 50 stories that shed the light of God's grace on the lives of our servicemen and women, told through the military chaplains who care for their physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
The second book in the Miracles and Moments of Grace series, a book of 50 inspiring stories told by doctors, will release in March 2012. In the meantime, my book of weight loss success stories, How We Did It: Weight Loss Choices That Will Work for You, will release in December 2011. It tells about three dozen stories of personal weight loss success and examines the many paths to success -- everything from Atkins to the Zone.
My two children's books, Make It, Shake It, Mix It Up and Even the Sound Waves Obey Him, pair simple science activities with stories of faith. I also write articles and personal essays for books and magazines, including the Chicken Soup for the Soul series, which you can read at my website www.nancybkennedy.com.
