5.0 out of 5 stars Good Book! Bad Title!
This book is well written and fun to read. It has great insight on how to discover more about yourself and what you are looking for. It discusses more about how to find someone who is compatible with you and when you do find that person, the best way not to screw up the encounter. It is NOT a book on how to date as many people as you can and have sex with them. It is...

3.0 out of 5 stars How to make someone fall in love with you
The beginning of this book is great, seems like it is based on some solid research. It is not a magic spell to make someone fall in love with you, but rather an explanation of why we are attracted to who we attracted to, and how to enhance that process. I did feel like it fell apart toward the end of the book though. Maybe he was trying to provide that magic in a book...

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Book! Bad Title!, April 27, 2009

This review is from: How to Make Someone Fall in Love With You in 90 Minutes or Less (Paperback)
This book is well written and fun to read. It has great insight on how to discover more about yourself and what you are looking for. It discusses more about how to find someone who is compatible with you and when you do find that person, the best way not to screw up the encounter. It is NOT a book on how to date as many people as you can and have sex with them. It is geared towards finding that one special person most of us are looking for and building a long lasting relationship with them.

I would never have bought the book on the title alone because the title means something completely different to me. So I think it is a bad title.

I would recommend this book to someone looking for additional insight in the dating field and finding true love.

4.0 out of 5 stars Loved this Short Book!, February 13, 2009

This review is from: How to Make Someone Fall in Love With You in 90 Minutes or Less (Paperback)
This book is short and concise, which is something that I really enjoyed. It has some practical suggestions on meeting people that I would consider following through with. Mostly he focused on action, getting yourself out there for you to meet as many people as you can. He makes a good point on moving on if there is no "connection". It's the sorting through people until you meed the "right one". He offered techniques on making conversation if you are socially unskilled, or shy that seemed as if they would work.

The bottom line is - if you are willing to do a little work, get yourself out meeting people at different events, clubs, theatres, etc., you will eventually meet the person that matches you. I would recommend reading his other book first, as he refers to it often (How to Make Someone Like You in 90 Minutes).

5.0 out of 5 stars Unless You're Oprah, Read this Book, May 4, 2011
By
This review is from: How to Make Someone Fall in Love With You in 90 Minutes or Less (Paperback)
Howard Gardner, the famed Harvard psychologist, identified seven major areas of learning, very roughly correlating to language arts, math, art, music, gym, interpersonal and "intrapersonal" learning. Public education covers the first five, but is too unsophisticated to cover the last two. This book addresses many major aspects of interpersonal learning. Once you read it, you will most definitely notice your mistakes and the mistakes of others and you'll be relieved that you're no longer making these mistakes. How would you feel if you went around saying things like, "Me and him went to the park" and then someone told you the correct grammar is, "He and I"? That's what this book accomplishes on an interpersonal level. For example, one topic in this book is conversational levels of intimacy and how to tell whether your conversational partner is comfortable with the level you're discussing. The author shows how to jump from one level to another and how to time the jumps so as to not bore your conversational partner or drive him or her away. Though the author applies the material to dating, it is also applicable to every day life and should be practiced there in order to develop expertise.

While the title of the book does relate to the material in the book, the title is hyped and gimmicky, whereas the book contents provide an important learning experience.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nicholas Boothman does it again., July 22, 2010

This review is from: How to Make Someone Fall in Love With You in 90 Minutes or Less (Paperback)
I have read all of Nicholas Boothman's books and though this one is a little more specialized than the rest, it is still very useful. Most of the information in here are techniques you will be familiar with if you've read this other works, but all in all, these books are really a crash course in Neuro Linguistic Programming. Excellent insight, very applicable strategies. Great book.

This review is from: How to Make Someone Fall in Love With You in 90 Minutes or Less (Paperback)
This is a great book on human behavior, body language and flirting. Did I find love? Not yet. But I have started paying a lot more attention to body language and little hints.

Its a great start for someone who is re-entering the wonderful world of dating....

5.0 out of 5 stars Not what I thought but more than I expected, October 25, 2011
By
This review is from: How to Make Someone Fall in Love With You in 90 Minutes or Less (Paperback)
I picked this book up due to a store going out of business. Thought it couldn't hurt even though I always read reviews on Amazon before purchasing books.

While I didn't like title (sounded manipulative) I did like happy thoughts that came with someone liking/loving me quickly. Here's the catch: This book isn't about making someone fall in love with you at all. It contains tons of helpful tips and activities on how to be more confident within yourself so people will become naturally attracted to you. No games, no manipulation. Just an easy to read combination of everything that you've heard through other books/sites with activities so putting that advice in motion is easier.

It was extremely helpful to me and I've tabbed more pages than any other book on dating I have bought. If you are trying to be more successful in the dating world I highly recommend picking this up!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great advice, bad title, October 28, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I felt awful a buying a book with this title. I did purchase it because it has been recommended to me and because of the good reviews. I thought, jeez, I am not desperate. I am not a fool to believe that any man can fall in love with me in 90 minutes. Indeed, it is a bad title, for a great book that you read easily and with gusto.

I always love date and relationship books for women written by men, because, well, they know their stuff first hand. Moreover, they usually cut the crap that other books for single ladies give. This is also the case of the author here, who makes a great job at giving advice, reasons for the advice, and offering tips and techniques to practice what he preaches.

The concept of matched opposite is truly helpful, and makes complete sense, even though many women find themselves pursuing men who are like them, a version of themselves, not the best man for them.

The fact that the author was a fashion photographer in the past, really shows, as his advice on how to dress and present yourself is really good. Nothing really new, or wow, but still you know it comes from a professional.

The book has given me many tips to go and practice next time I see any guy that catches my eye, things that I usually oversee or forget to do, not realising how important they are to get the attention of any man, beyond the looks. I have been practising his advice of looking at the colour of somebody's eyes to learn how to make eye contact, and it really works. There are many tips you can put into practice.

One of those books that you go back to check for advice over and over again.

This book has some great ideas and advice. I was surprised to find that some of the tips in this book actually work. In summary, people like to be made to feel good about themselves and want to be surrounded by others who help them achieve this feeling. This book will help you understand how your role in a relationship is important in helping your desired partner feel good about themselves.

5.0 out of 5 stars So That's Why I'm Single - HMMMMMM, January 23, 2012
When I first began reading this book, this quote stood out to me "We won't stand for another lonely night, another lousy date, another jerk...we deserve to be loved and to love." To those of us still dating, Amen to that! The author gives some invaluable tips and tools on how to fall in love, and how to create a long-lasting love. He makes some excellent points about why even to bother with love, reminding us all that we are all hard-wired to find mates and create an intimate bond with someone to help us to be complete as human beings.

I found it interesting that the author made a key point that finding lasting love is all about breaking the habits that have kept you single and then goes on to reveal one of the true secrets to finding love. And I truly enjoyed reading the two Chapters entitled "Seven Ways To Make A Woman Fall In Love With You" followed by "Seven Ways To Make A Man Fall In Love With You" with great expectation...and guess what? I wasn't disappointed! Bottom Line? I LOVED this book!
