This is the second book on the same subject. This one teaches youmore ideas for pop-up cards. Also shows you how you can make GIANT pop-ups that can be used for playing in and around-sort of a scene for kids to build around. Again written for children but a good book for beginners in making pop-ups.

I am always look for ways to intergrate Art into my 7th Grade English classes. We have a unit of making non-fiction books. This is a GREAT way to boost kids' creativity as they look for ways to illustrate their books. The instructions are easy to follow and require almost no explaining by me.
