Everyone needs a little kick in the pants every now and then to get things done and that's just what this book is. I am a classic procrastinator and this book is just what I need. It is very simple and to the point and that is what I loved about it. Chapter 1 and chapter 4 really hit home for me. Excellent read Cathy!

This book says in a few pages what it take most self-help books too many pages to say. This title deserves to be on your Kindle and one that you reach for when discouragement sets in. A few minutes later, you'll find yourself excited to get going again.

"Make Things Happen" is a book that will only take you a few minutes to read but could set you on the path to success. Many of us fear taking risks but this book encourages you to do just that. So at first the book may feel a little uncomfortable because it provides a good reality check. But once you get past the initial fear of failure you can really make things happen. This book will help you figure out what you really want to do and then how to achieve your goal. Cathy Stucker explains that you can reach your goal by taking small steps but you have to start doing something immediately. The information in this book will get you moving in the right direction.

Perhaps Cathy Stucker's name should be Cathy UNstucker, because that's what this book is all about: getting your life unstuck and taking action! The book is concise and to the point, and it covers several action steps you can take towards making progress toward your goals. The book covers changing your attitude, choosing your goals, making a plan, expanding your network and taking action. The author is a good writer and gives a lot of commonsense advice in this book.

Short and right to the point, this is an excellent guide to what it takes to get moving toward personal goals. I loved how the author phrased certain ideas, i.e., refusing to make a decision and take action is to allow decisions to be made for me. Life is going to happen, whether I like it or not -- why not decide to make some plans and take some specific actions that will put me back in the driver's seat and help shape my life into more of what I want? Leonardo Da Vinci said "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication." This guide reminded me that I don't need to read a 300 page book to get a nudge out of my comfort zone. I think I'll read this guide everyday for a month. It was a great reminder that the road to success is only as complicated (or as simple) as we make it. Thank you, Cathy!!

This is a great little book that gives you a simple and easy to follow "method" for getting what you want. I've read a lot of these types of self help books but this book is a little different because it focuses on showing you the steps you need to "make things happen". Its not filled with a lot of extraneous stuff you don't need but it does have just the right amount of examples so that you know how to change your thinking so that you can take the action for that step. If you are stuck in a rut and don't know how to get out, then this book will help.

Inspirational and easy to read - I like her style of writing, no fluff, just packed full of usable info.
Sometimes we just need a game plan to help us quit procrastinating and get an idea in motion. So many times ideas just float around in your head and never come to fruition for what ever reason - Cathy makes it clear and simple and you can't help but be inspired to take the next step.
Interestingly, I found myself thinking of and getting excited about new ideas for projects while reading.

Such a great read. Not too long and boring. It seems that it's purpose is to stimulate the reader to get out and about and work hard to make things happen their life.
I am so glad I bought this book and I will go back and refer to it every time I'm feeling discouraged by the lack of movement in my life. It will give me the boost I need.
The steps are easily understood and keep you motivated.
You need to buy this book to give your spirits a lift.
