Six months ago, unemployed and with the savings running out, I asked an obviously successful friend for some advice on how I can make some money online. His response? "Amazon FBA." It sounded good, which of course was a good reason to doubt it. I asked him a couple weeks later, and a couple weeks after that. On the third call, he said, "I'm going to tell you the same thing now for the third time. After this, I charge. Amazon FBA." So I looked into it. I read Nathan Holmquist, and I got Chris Green's book, "Retail Arbitrage." I read it, and followed his advice. Along the way, I got Cynthia Stine's book, "Make Thousands on Amazon working Ten Hours a Week . . ." and I'm following her advice too. Except I don't work just ten hours a week.

The result? In our third month of selling on Amazon, we did $14,000 in sales and put about $4,000 in our pockets. Our fourth month will be better, and I can't wait to see what we can do in the fourth quarter.

Another reviewer here wrote that this book was "incredibly overpriced" and smelled like "self-promo" for Chris Green . . . I can understand his reaction, there is just so much BS out there, so many claims of easy riches. Just like that reviewer, it all gets my back up, too. But I can say without qualification, the money I spent on Cynthia and Chris's books, and the money I spend on FBAScout is bringing me a hundredfold, a thousandfold return. Easy riches? Not at all, I have never worked harder. But I'm enjoying myself, and we are building a business that pays the bills, and more.

One more thing- Cynthia writes a blog, and she is incredibly generous with her information. The most daunting aspect of selling online is finding products at low enough prices to make a profit when you re-sell. It is understandable when sellers keep to themselves their best sources, but Cynthia shares this info freely.

If you are in a bind and are looking for a way to pay the bills in a changing economy, or need to make some extra cash, and you are willing to work hard, you are doing yourself a real injustice if you pass this by without giving it a try. And one more thing- if you suspect I am Cynthia's cousin or Chris's mother or a friend or family member just trying to help them sell books, e-mail me with your phone number, I'll be happy to answer any of your questions. My e-mail is my name at hotmail.

Problem with the book is it is very step by step. How is this a problem you ask? Because websites like Amazon are constantly changing websites and pages and what was the case when the book was published is not so now. Also, it kind of grated on me that she was constantly shilling for 2 monthly services she uses to the tune of $60 a month. While helpful once you get your business going, these 2 services are hardly necessary to get started.

This book had a lot of awesome and valuable information. A lot of it was dedicated to using FBAPower, which I don't use or plan on using anytime soon. Therefore, a lot of it didn't appeal to me. For 50 dollars I was expecting the Holy Grail and it wasn't that, but it was definitely a good read and I would recommend it if you have some extra money and really enjoy reading books on this topic like I do. Realistically, it should cost 20 dollars at most.

This book was recommended to me by a superseller with Amazon.
I loved the book and it was very informative and helpful. My major problem with this book is that none of the bit.ly links work and I was brought to an error page.
The book clearly needs to be updated and for the price it should be.

Cynthia's book was my very first purchase having anything to do with selling on FBA. I heard her passion and loved her
story from a video taped on the FBA Site. I started in January and I haven't looked back. I have a room that gets so full of things
to sell on FBA Amazon that I have to force myself to stop sourcing and sit down and get things shipped. Even today I still refer back to
Cynthia's book. This should be the very first book you purchase if you want to know anything about sourcing for FBA. It has step by
step for people like me that need a visual guide. I am now teaching my family how to do this. They feel my passion and are so happy that i have finally found what fits for me.

Thank You so much for writing your fantastic book.
Mary :)

I have been selling via FBA since last March and purchased this book directly from Cynthia Stine's website. I thought this would give me some insights into sourcing product that I hadn't already thought of. The book has a few pearls of wisdom here and there, hence giving two stars and not one, but it is 99% completely about selling books only. The only advice on sourcing product really is: "It's easy to find." What a disappointment.

If you're interested in only selling books and you haven't started out yet, this is an okay book. If you're already selling on Amazon and thinking you will find useful tips worth $50, save your money.

I have only just begun to read this book, but I have completed others that are similar, such as Barcode Booty. And while others are helpful, this book by far is the most practical for application. But the best part is that I have already begun to implement some of the steps and I know FOR SURE, that following the steps that are laid out in such easy to understand sequential order has cut my learning curve, and thus, my ability to see profit, in half if not more. I am a busy mom to toddler twins so my time is limited both to read and implement, but I absolutely could not get as far as I have in two short weeks without this. I fully expect to have a PT business up and running by the end of this quarter, around 6 weeks or so, thanks to this book. It helps her writing style is easy, helpful, and fun, she has a quick wit and ways to get through even the kinda boring parts of this business. I also highly encourage you to subscribe or at least read her blog, [...]. The title alone says it all, but it too, is a great companion to this book and literally walks you through some of the pitfalls she made and how to avoid them. It's rare that someone shares that in any line of business in print.

Simply amazing! For those who need another income source with growth potential, no other book like this one exists anywhere. Author Cynthia Stine details the specifics of how she started making money using Fulfilled By Amazon, and how anyone can make money using FBA, too. Her prose is easy to understand and gets right to the point. Her generous willingness to share what she has learned will enable many others to save countless hours and dollars avoiding mistakes, and earn more money faster by following best practices. Stine covers the ins and outs of the program, the fees involved, where to get all the information about FBA, how to find and shop for inventory--the works. She also sets up the book so that those who want to dive right in can do so, while others may opt to read through the entire work and then get going. Even the most cash-strapped readers have potential income sitting around in their homes. The author explains how to set up the business by turning that home inventory into cash (the way she started). She then walks readers through acquiring further inventory to sustain and grow a business that can be either part- or full time, depending on how much time and effort each reader has to invest in it. A must-read (and do) for tough times!

I bought Cynthia's book a couple of months ago. It is a great book and would highly recommend it! She literally takes you step by step explaining everything in great detail! I have been a consultant for many kinds of "home Party" like baskets and jewelry over the years but have never started my own business. She also has many links and groups in the book to learn from others as you go so you never ever feel like you are starting your business alone. I had lost my job in October and can not tell you how much of a godsend this book is, I get more excited every day because I keep learning more and getting more info!
I can't thank you enough Cynthia!

I loved it until I got to the part where it wasn't helpful anymore. Trying to get set up on FBA is not as easy as 1-2-3 & I have questions that aren't answered in the book since this author recommended using other sources outside of Amazon's FBA seller central (FBA power) to get started. I need to know how to use Amazon's FBA seller central before anything else makes sense. It looks like FBA seller central has changed some since the book was written so this author may need to consider an online resource to keep the reader up on current changes or the book will be quickly obsolete.
