Walking through Jackson Square at the New Orleans French Quarter Festival in 1999, I stumbled upon one of the musical stages. (After a couple of Hurricanes from Pat O'Brien's I can't verify the stage sponsor.) I was immediately captivated by a young man-all of seven or eight years of age-belting out country and Cajun tunes like an old pro.

Although I'm a great lover of Cajun/Zydeco music, this was my first exposure to Hunter. Even taking his age into account, Hunter is a true talent and should have a very bright future. I recommend this CD highly.

Hunter plays a variety of country and Cajun music, including the Cajun classic 'Allons Danser', and it's all of great quality. His accordian/keyboard playing is first rate. He wrote and composed several of the cuts and I suspect another CD is in the works. He's also a great showman on stage should you have the opportunity to see him live.

Hunter Hayes is a gifted young artist that has actually been around for several years. To list just some of his accomplishments; three CD's, parts in a few movies, opened on stage for some major artists, and has been on several talk shows. Read Hunters impressive bio on his web site for a complete list - you'll be amazed. His music is classified as "Cajun Country", "Swamp Pop", or "Folk" - but much of it sounds to me more like traditional country music. Other songs have more of a Cajun flavor with Hunter playing the accordion and /or singing in French. On this CD, "Make A Wish", that he co-produced, Hunter wrote and composed seven of the songs in which he sings and plays (accordion & keyboard). Whether you like your country music traditional, Cajun, or a little bit popish, you'll really enjoy this CD.

Hey i'm a little country girl from Germany. I love listening Country Music. Ferlin Husky& Hank Williams i Love them. I'm watching Hank on TV there came out a little cute man- Hunter.
i put his name into the Internet shops and found his CD!!
I buy it and i have to say I never believe it. Such a young little person could do so nice.
So if you only want to spend time and have a little fun-
BUY IT.
I'm so sad that my lovley Country musican are not so popular
in Germany. But I try to follow Hunters Way.
