We love these calendars and have been using them for years. Toward the end of the month or the first couple days of the next month we break out the crayons and stickers. The kids love it and spending time together to go over the monthly plan with them is invaluable.

Excellent! My kids work on their coloring while I read aloud to them and this calendar has detailed pictures so it takes them a long time and it is perfect. Doesn't wipe off and get all over their hands like many glossy surfaced calendars. This is excellent and I'm getting ready to look for the 2011 version right now!!

It's nice and I think would be a great gift for older kids to give a parent, but my girls are 2 and 3 and the pictures to color are too detailed for that. Neat idea though!

I've been buying this calendar since my kids were little (they are 15 & 16 now). I color the pages myself but the stickers for the days of the months are very relevant for any age and any family. The art work is so cute. I get my colored pencils out and color each month. I forgot how fun coloring was.

We LOVED this calendar! I think I am going to buy it every year. We ended up buying three calendars- 2 for the grandmas and 1 for us. We gave them as Christmas gifts. My daughter is 4 and this was a fun activity that kept her busy the weeks before Christmas. We drew pictures in the big blank space that corresponded with the month and had fun coloring in the other pictures as well. It also comes with stickers that she can put on "special" days. It's a nice alternative to the "photo" calendars that are more expensive and require more organization on the mommy side.

This calendar is creative and fun as well as educational. Kids can use the stickers to mark their special holidays and color the pages as desired.

I started keeping a baby calendar for my son for his first year and found a "Baby's Second Year" calendar after that. However, you probably know that there are no baby calendars after that. I did a lot of searching online and found the Make Your Own Calendar. Like another reviewer, I love coloring and the pictures are perfect for each month/season. Since my 2 1/2 year old son is not old enough to make his own pictures, I use the blank space to put a collage of photos for each month. Also, while there are SOME stickers that are not applicable, most are: trip to the library, trip to the beach, field trip, snowy day, etc. I plan on ordering the 2011 version for his 3rd year and another for my 7 month old. I figure they can look back on the events in their lives with this AND have a sample of Mommy's coloring as a bonus!
