What can I say about this album that hasn't already been said? It's catchy. It's got a lot of bang for the buck (52 minutes worth). It's indie rock. It's college rock. It's alternative. It's punk. It's prog.

It has funny lyrics. It has fancy drumming. It has vintage keyboards. It has fuzzy bass. Banjo, oboe, singing saw, accordion, glockenspiel, and some other weird things sneak onto it.

It's a big fat almost-concept album, but with 11 songs that could be hit singles in a different universe. It's got vampires, robots, time travel, and reincarnated cats.

If you like They Might Be Giants, Weezer, The Rentals, Beck, Quasi, Cake, Ben Folds, Flight of the Conchords, of Montreal, Ween, Modest Mouse, Built to Spill, The Beatles, Barenaked Ladies, Tenacious D, The Pixies, or Neutral Milk Hotel, you just might dig this album.
