I had such high hopes for these but, as another reviewer noted, they taste no different than store-bought maraschino cherries. As an added bonus for the store-bought variety, you don't have to wait very long to enjoy them, whereas these will take a couple of days to be processed and even more time before they arrive at your door.

The other reviewers note that "they just taste like cherries," which is true, although I think these cherries have a slightly more robust flavor than the generic variety. A good Manhattan has a cherry anchoring the bottom of the martini glass, and and what makes these cherries special is that they are very large and spherical, whereas your typical cocktail cherry is slightly mangled and often uneven. If you're into the aesthetics of your drink, it's worth it to get yourself a jar of these, for basically the same price as the Safeway special.

The cherries don't taste bad at all. they taste like any other maraschino cherry I've ever had, which is the problem. These were pretty pricey to have no flavor to them other than candy cherries.

They are exactly as titled. But the company was terrible about sending them! They were ordered/paid for a Christmas present in around October and still had not come before Christmas and when called they still took there time sending them and didn't even apologize. I think in all it took 3 months to get.
