This book is not as detailed as his first book, Makeup Makeovers, but more of a compliment. This book focuses specifically on the Bride and Bridesmaids to create that picture-perfect look of timeless beauty for that Special Day. Stunning photographs with classic and timeless looks. A great inspiration for the novice and advance makeup artist. Get both of his books if you can afford to but if you have to choose one or the other, his first book is the best!

I have the author's book Makeup Makeovers, which I did like very much. However, this book is pretty much a rerun of the first. I did not learn anything new. Pictures are the same. And there are no pictures or discussion of the challenges of the mother of the bride, grandmother of the bride age group. I did learn if the bride's hair is up, the attendants hair should be down and to have the bride's lipstick in the groom's pocket. Those tips were not worth the price of the book. Buy one or the other, but you sure do not need both. I should have tried the library first.

I decided to do my own makeup for my wedding. My wedding pictures turned out great. My bridesmaids and I looked wonderful! The step by step instructions were easy and a lot of it applies to everyday makeup. The photographs in the book are beautiful as well. I am able to translate that to everyday looks and that makes it useful after the wedding.

I purchased this book as part of a deal to start with but as I am getting married in 6 months it is a great book to have not only for the different styles they show but also for what time of day they would best suit.
This book is absolutely amazing and I would recommend it to anyone!

This book gives you ideas how to do various makeup in different faces.

As a professional makeup artist, all I can say is that Mr. Jones is a true master of beauty. These wedding looks are guaranteed to inspire and excite makeup artists and brides alike.
The look(s) are soft and natural rather than heavily made up. Mr. Jones shares his inside secrets specifically for brides...so that their wedding day look is "picture" perfect. It's too bad I can only give this item 5 stars as it truly deserves at least 10 :-)

I was amazed at how easy the tips in here seemed. And I tried out several to add to my regular makeup and I got tons of compliments! Its a great book. Although I do think Kevin Aucion's Making Faces does a better job of going step by step on how to do all of the techniques. Its a good book, with stunning pictures!

to a makeup artists' library. This man has done wonderful work on people I know. He teaches clearly and thoroughly. He is developing his own cosmetic line, but has helped to design the incarnation of Mary Kay Cosmetics make-up line prior to the mineral products. He knows whereof he speaks!

I think this book will be very useful to me as a makeup artist who does a lot of bridal work, it will work for me as a "catalogue" for my brides to choose the kind of makeup they would like, and also for me to recommend certain looks. I don't think it would be helpful for regular girls who want to do their own makeup at their wedding, because it doesn't teach you makeup application, like step by step techniques for doing concealer, foundation, etc. It does explain really well 3 basic eye techniques and shows you the variety of looks you can get following this same aplication. And I loved that. 100% recommended for makeup artists doing bridal work.
