Indispensable for hardcore animation fans, but casual fans can do without it.
Yet another cool collection from Thunderbean, featuring rare footage of animators at work, showing how cartoons were made in the old days of animation. My favorite part is the foriegn studio, showing the story of a deer being animated. I was also thrilled at the appearance of Paul Terry, a documentary bit on Disney, and even an appearance from animation Godfather Otto...

Yet another cool collection from Thunderbean, featuring rare footage of animators at work, showing how cartoons were made in the old days of animation. My favorite part is the foriegn studio, showing the story of a deer being animated. I was also thrilled at the appearance of Paul Terry, a documentary bit on Disney, and even an appearance from animation Godfather Otto Messmer! What a treat!
That said, if you don't care to see the process, then this DVD probably won't interest you. But for a hardcore fan like me, this is a true pleasure to see these ultra rare films finally given the chance to see the light of day again.
