5.0 out of 5 stars A classic Irish Box CD, April 10, 2003

This review is from: Makin the Rounds (Audio CD)
Billy McComiskey is something of a legend among box players. While not as famous as some of the current trendy players (Sharon Shannon, John Williams and John Whelan), nor quite as established as some of the older famous players (Joe Burke, James Keane), he is nevertheless the equal of any of them. Is playing is precise but anything other than mechanical giving a magic to these tunes that is easy to see. Ok, let me just put it simply... I like it :).
