An attempt by a non-writer,

I like the guy. I admire his perseverance, his charm, his ability to adapt and learn his craft - acting. But although I don't regret reading this book, it wasn't well written. It's like a timeline without much personal detail. We know his feelings but not always why. We know he has met a lot of great actors, but it reads more like a resume. I know the author is much more complex than this. Perhaps his editors are to blame. After all, he is an actor, not a writer. I'm did enjoy learning more about him and glad he made the attempt.
