VERY POOR EXCUSE FOR A BOOK,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Making Birdhouses & Feeders (Paperback)
I rate the book a 1. It is lame. Section on hammers, saw & tools is totally unnecessary. There are a few things copied from Shopsmith which let me know this is a book that was mostly researched then republished, and a poor job of it! There is a conversion chart no doubt copied from another source that has nothing to do with building bird houses/feeders. There is even a feeder inside made of UGLY and splintery wafer board! C'mon! Plans are poor and unprofessional. The picture on the cover only lures you in to buy a very bad book. It would have been much better to have a book of plans for each species of bird with finished pictures and detailed plans. This book does not do that. Most of us wanting to build something from wood to put in our yards want it to look very pleasing, ( a wafer board feeder is not pleasing!) while attracting the birds we most want to see and hear. I wish I had not wasted my money!
