Overall, the best book you could possibly want on the topic of writing and delivering the "father of the bride" wedding speech and toast. This book is a reasonably short read, which is good. It's packed with escellent advice and examples. It includes a really useful, "sure fire" ten-point outline for writing a memorable speech. It contains sample speeches. Overall, if you need ot quick-start your father-of-the-bride speech, read this book because they just don't get any better than this!!!!

First this is written in British English. It takes some getting used to and some terms and customs are different.

Moreover this is a very brief book.

Further it is full of samples which one can obtain from elsewhere and are not a good teaching aid. If I say such and such said this and it was very effective, it does not help me if I am not shown how to duplicate that effort.

Ofcourse if you are British this may be just the book for you. For the rest of the English speaking people look elsewhere.
