an exciting look at a leading of the Lord coming to fruition, April 16, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Making a Church from Scratch (Paperback)
What an encouraging piece of writing! This book is a first hand account of a man following the leading of the Lord and a literal example of how "all things work together for good for those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose" (Romans 8:28).
The principles involved and the practical steps taken in pursuing the vision that the Lord put on Pastor Benitone's heart are easily transferable to pastors called to start new churches; missionaries, evangelists, and other ministers of the Gospel who are pioneering a Holy Spirit inspired ministry can easily adapt the information to their particular work.
I would recommend this book for anyone with any interest in ministry of almost any sort, whether starting a new church, creating a ministry to meet the needs of a particular region or people group, or deciding to take responsibility for the teen program, or a Sunday school class in a local church.
It is very good reading!
