This review is from: Making and Dressing Dolls' House Dolls in 1/12 Scale (Hardcover)
There are not many books our there that are specific to dressing the porcelain dollhouse dolls that are truly 1" scale. This one covers all the bases. Numerous full color photos illustrate the completed outfits. There are patterns for every era and every type of individual from the gardener to the bride and every age - from the baby to grandpa. Every costume I have made using this book has been a success. The instructions are clear and best of all, the clothes fit. As a bonus, there is a section on wigs, hats, and accessories. Get this one if you have ever even THOUGHT about dressing a dollhouse doll, or, if you want to research the proper clothes for a particular period.

5.0 out of 5 stars A beautiful book!, July 3, 2003
Making and Dressing Dolls' House Dolls in 1/12 Scale by Sue Atkinson is an absolute beauty of a book! I truly go with the advice of another reviewer, the book is marvelous just for the photos alone! The dolls and dresses are a feast for the eyes. I have never had the honor of viewing such a pleasurable book.
