A great intro to British history,

This review is from: The Making of England to 1399 (History of England, vol. 1) (Paperback)
I bought this book to use in a class called England to 1688. So far, it has been a good source for me and has helped me to understand various aspects of British history with which I was not familiar. I only keep books from my classes that I find useful for my future scholarship. This is one I intend to keep.

For those that are vague on Englands history in the first place, this is a great book to begin with.

Got this book for class, and it appears to be a good overview of the general history of the British Isles... although that "BCE/CE" nonsense as a dating system drives me crazy.
