This review is from: Making the Estrogen Decision (Paperback)
It is not hard to praise this book. Susan Lark, M.D., whose solid medical qualifications speak through every word, paragraph, and chapter, gives in an easy to ready, straight forward form the major considerations in current thought on dealing with the changes that occur to women's bodies in mid-life. She succcintly, clearly, and comprehensively covers specific problems and modalities for their amelioration. Without judgment, she offers in a compact form and readable language, solutions to (and explanations for those solutions) the knotty problems and challenges each woman must answer for herself as she looks out on the so-called second half of her life. An individual can read this book, find out what applies to her, and then pursue her own interests more knowledgeably. This is a good place to start, in both understanding and decision making.
