Following the artist's path,

This review is from: Making Gardens Works of Art: Creating Your Own Personal Paradise (Paperback)
Having met Keeyla Meadows several years ago at the San Francisco Flower Show, I was thrilled to read this book. This is a woman who loves art and gardening and expresses it real life. Her book brings her joy to the reader and inspires that reader to experiment in their own space, enabling them to create their own "personal paradise". She also includes information on soil and plants, which is invaluable in creating an artistic, thriving garden that blends with the home and location. Well worth the read for anyone who LOVES art and gardening, or wants to learn how to create their own "paradise".

The gardening inspiration I was looking for!,
This review is from: Making Gardens Works of Art: Creating Your Own Personal Paradise (Paperback)
Finally!! I first saw Keeyla at the S.F. Garden show where she conducted a workshop I attended and also
contributed her amazing creativity to a landscape garden. In her workshop presentation she inspired me to paint the back of my house a beautiful green (chartreuse) that really makes the yard "pop". The rest of my house is a boring brownish/gray color that satisfies the watchful eyes of my Homeowners Association! Keeyla's book explodes with wonderful eclectic ideas, beautiful photographs and practical gardening pointers. I love imaginative and unusual whimsey in a garden and Keeyla takes that to the next level. What a creative genius!

The author, Keeyla Meadows, is a ceramics artist and a gardener extraordinare. She not only has a green thumb but apparently a very colorful one also. Her works of art are both whimsical and beautiful, very artistic, and inspiring. A great book that is highly entertaining.
