I strongly recommend this for all coin collectors except the experts. It is a must to have for beginners and the casual collector. It is much easier to use than other leading grading books. It will defiantly help in purchasing coins or assigning a grade to coins

I've been collecting for over fifty years and this is the most helpful grading assistant I have found. The pictures are spot on and the descriptions are helpful and very accurate. Buy this book before you buy the coin. There isn't another on the market to compare to it.

I bought this book for a friend and they really like it. If I had the money, I'd probably buy one for myself. I's a SIMPLE to USE coin grading guide for amateurs. And it's a great read.

This is the best coin grading reference you can purchase for U. S. coins. It's compact, printed on high quality paper and it is in COLOR. Excellent photos (close ups) as well as text describing each grade - -obverse and reverse of coins. Don't fret about the grade of a coin - buy this reference and you are set to expertly grade any US coin. A must for all US coin collectors.

I had been making poor choices when purchasing coins for many years. Now that I have this book, I'm getting a crucial education in coin collecting. Anyone who is new to coin collecting or who wants to take coin collecting to another level, needs this book in order to master the knowledge of what parts of a coin must be in good condition in order to have value. The color coding and explanations, as well as various photographs of coins in various conditions, makes learning more simplified.
