I found this book to be rather basic but easy to understand. It talks a little about the history of candle dipping and gives comprehensive instructions on how to make them. It explains termonology used in making candles and how different things affect the final product. If you ever wanted to try candle dipping I would recommend this book as a good place to start!

Being a lover of beeswax candles, rolled as well as dipped, I was blown away with this publication which is actually more complete than most of the candle making books I have that cost me way to much money. If you want a down to earth, easy to read and follow publication that covers the basics, troubleshooting problems, safety equipment and procedures, storage tips suppliers etc, this is the only publication you will probably need.

Tired of having several large books for a project when you only use a portion of the info? Than this is the book for you. Small but packed with great information and intruction on how to make beautiful hand dipped candles. This book is a must for the new or experienced candle maker.

Helps you to understand how candles are made and the book is a very good price for the information. I have bought several of her other books. Rather than put 20 things in one book and charge $40 dollars for it then you can get great thin books only on the subject matter you want

This was more like a pamphlet than a book, and much more difficult and time consuming than I thought. If you're interested in making candle like the 1700's version, this is for you. As for myself, I'd rather use molds!

Simple and very basic for the crafters and preppers out there. I suppose it the preppers were beekeepers, they could get the wax from their hives.

Have done mold and poured candles in the past, and knew the basics of dipping, but this short treatise is an excellent overview of the subject.

Easy to follow instructions are not over-complicated by wordy authors. You will find these to be your best starting place for most projects.
