Short, sweet and informative,

This review is from: Making Liqueurs for Gifts: Storey's Country Wisdom Bulletin A-101 (Kindle Edition)
All the Storey Country Wisdom Bulletins are short and full of information. They are one of the first places I look for quick overviews to learn basics and to get ideas if I will really be interested in something. This one covers making liqueurs using a vodka or brandy base and flavorings.
It has a lot of great recipes that can be used as launching areas for your own concoctions and was just what I was looking for. The techniques. I want to make a vanilla cream liqueur for some people for Christmas, and this book didn't have a recipe for exactly what I was looking for but did give me the information to create my own recipe. Recommended if it's something you're just interested in trying out.

I originally found this book in the local library. As a novice winemaker, I was looking for different ideas for both wine and liquers. This book really came in handy for the liquer ideas.
Shipping was quick. I received the product within a couple of days and am planning the first liquer making session. |
