Some of his best, but overall a little uneven,

There is some great stuff on here. First off, people who like atom will love this (especially the atom and his rockage songs they sound so great), and the people who hate him will continue to hate him (but they won't be able to resist the above mentioned Rockage songs). This album contains some of his best song writing, but we see why a few of the songs were unreleased. This CD overall I like better than "A Society of People Named Elihu" but just barely... Recommended to all fans, and for newcomers this is the best place to start.

And they call Weezer geek-rock,

When i was a first year student at Foothill College, i met a guy named Tim Ellsworth, and he convinced me to go to Radio Free Records in San Jose, CA to see a local punk show, and i had no idea what was in store for me. When a geeky, chubby guy (Atom)came on stage with a guitar and a box (the Package, which i couldn't see over the crowd), i knew that i was in for something interesting. The show was one of the most entertaining live shows i have ever seen, complete with crowd participation. I ended up picking up this LP, which is actually a collection of various EPs and Atom and His Package rarities. Sure, Atom's voice is high-pitched and annoying, but that's part of the humor. Also, i love that the whole album is programmed on a synthesizer. Basically, this album is one of the funniest albums i own, and it is like nothing else i own. The concepts for the songs are hilarious, with "Hats Off to Halford" as an ode to homosexual metalheads, "Pumping Iron For Enya" where Atom goes to the gym to impress Enya, and "What WE Do on Christmas" where Atom reveals a Jewish plot to take over the world. This album is weird, cheesy, but catchy as hell and unique. Welcome to Atom's world. This one's for the geek in all of us, or for those who just like to laugh at them.

Oh Atom and the Package, I do adore. Atom played at Bard and did black death metal screams even though he was ill and short on lozenges.

Atom is a truly funny guy and this album is hilarious. Even the various synthesized sounds and sparatic guitar playing are excellent. Any fans of punk rock and people with senses of humor should own "Making Love". It's creative, abstractly intelligent, and quite amusing. BUY THIS!

Atom rules and Wisconsin Loves Him!,

Yeah. Atom is adored in Wisconsin (by me)! If anyone complains about Atom, I say they need a better sense of humor -- because Atom is the coolest, funniest, awesomest, rockinest synthesizing one man band ever! I wish I was Enya so he would stalk me!

This is one of the most modern, interesting albums that I've heard in a long time. Atom is the wave of the future in the same vein as Jad Fair and Daniel Jonston. Fantastic

Ok first off...I've heard all the comparisons to weird al and ween. Atom is not only funnier, but way less PC than the two above. Come on!! He pokes fun of his being a jew all the time, what's not to like? If you don't like atom, then obviously you have no sense of humor.

Atom is one of the greatest unknown musicians around. He and his Box create a ruckus of crazy happy poppy punk-inspired music that can't be defined. (Although I just did.) I was first introduced to Atom when I recived a stolen cd, it just happend to be ATOM!! The happiest day of my musical life. I hope everyone can experiance Atom, and I recommend any of his cds to anyone. If your searhing for more go visit his website!!
