I remember this video from when I was about 10 years old. My sister, cousins, and I would play this over and over. We knew EVERY dance step. Michael was better looking back then. We loved seeing the "quirky" moments on this video that showed his true character...I wonder if he's still the same????? It's a great video that is the ultimate of Behind the Scenes or The Making Of... type of videos. If you're interested in costume make-up or what goes into the making of videos this is a good tape. I don't listen to this type of music now, but this brings back a lot of my good childhood memories. It represents times when we were happy and songs were about simple things, not killing, fighting, and all of the crazy and obscene things that songs are being made about now.

Thriller and I go way back. I was too young when Thrillermania was going on but I experienced parts of the michael jackson mania since the mid 80's. The video scared me when I was a toddler but I had a Thriller toy anyways and appreciated the video even more when I was older. It is a brilliant masterpiece, the king of all music videos and it will never be forgotten. I love this video, it shows you how this masterpiece was created and there's a lot of cute moments while making the video. I love mike, he's the best.

THis video is pure genious. The music video is, and so is the "making of" video. I wasn't alive back when michael Jackson was so famous and was the number one pop idol. This video was so amazing. Michael did an amazing job with singing, dancing, and acting. To be honest, his singing in this video is better than the singing in the recorded song!! That's awsome, he improved on himself! His acting was amazing, and people that watch this video for the 1st time would be shocked. Michael did an amazing job of being the villain, he wasn't any hero in this video.


The other features show how they did makeup and directing and all of that jazzy stuff. It's really amusing to watch, and you get to learn all of the secrets of this 700 grand dollar video. If you want to see Michael at his finest (without including any moonwalking stuff..) buy, I repeat BUY this video. YOu can witness Thrillerpalooza at it's finest.Well...or Thriller mania...just buy this video!

They need to make this on DVD and they also need to make Moonwalker on DVD too. They need to help Michael get back. The video "Thriller" did good back in the 80's. I would do good if it can back now. This is Michael's best video that he made and is the best video ever made to mankind. No one can match to Thriller. It's the best, nobody can beat the person who is the best. Also it is almost like he wrote how to make music videos and people follow that.

Michael Jackson strives to be perfect in life, because that's the only way to be, as best as you can be, and keep on moving forward in life, with everything you do. This film shows that through and through. Everybody in the universe knows Thriller. If you don't you must live on another galaxy, or you're not born as of yet. I remember when this video (VHS) was first released, and I saw a huge display of it at are local "Hills" department store. (remember those stores?) and was "thrilled" to death. I think I was about six, and was never one to really ask for anything,... but when my mom saw my face lit up at the huge Hills Michael Jackson Thriller display, she was like,... "would you like to get that?" I was like, yes please, thank you! thank you! mom!,....

A classic. A definite must have for Michael Jackson fans. Wonderful to get a behind the scenes look at the greatest music video ever by the Greatest music artist of all time!

Great video of how the Thriller short music film was made and includes complete short film. Would love to get this on DVD as I no longer have a VHS player. Perhaps I can have a private copy made from my VHS tape.Making Michael Jackson's Thriller [VHS]

.....MICHAEL JACKSON'S MASTERPIECE. IT'S A "MAKING OF" VIDEO SO IT IS SELF EXPLANITORY, BEHIND THE SCENES, INTERVIEWS, ETC. YOU WON'T REGRET GETTING THIS BASICALLY.

I was so happy to go get this video. It is excellent quality considering when it was produced. Hopefully it will be put on DVD someday and more accessible for everyone. Whatever, I will never part with this "Thriller VHS"
