Along with the prequel to this book, Every Minute Counts : Making Your Math Class Work, you get a TON of useful tips, strategies and techniques to help your math students learn. Every new math teacher should read it and even experienced teachers may get some good ideas from it. I recently lent my copies to a new teacher at our school. They were given to me when I was fairly new to the profession by another experienced teacher.

This was a quick, easy read with good ideas to supplement any classroom. I have been teaching 15 years, but this will be my first year to just teach math. I wanted to get organization and time-management suggestions. I did get several worthwhile ideas that I will implement in a few weeks!

This small book is packed with great ideas specifically for the math classroom but most suggestions will work in ANY class. This is this follow-up to "Making Minutes Count" and is a wonderful companion book.

This book is fantastic for a beginning teacher like me. It's full of helpful tips and advice to get the most out of my maths classroom. I would also riecommend the first book in the series "Making Minutes Count".
