A hugely enjoyable book of the creation and turmoils of a broadway musical. Based on author Don Dunn's series of articles in The New Yorker at the time, the book is heavy on all the details of putting this show onto the New York stage.
NO,NO, NANETTE had birth-pangs surrounding this 1971 revival and firings.. Ohh the firings!. |
