Take it from a fan that owns every album by The Grouch, and a slew of others by his peers from the Living Legends collective - THIS CD IS A MUST OWN! The Living Legends are known for their uncanny sense of introspection and limitless amount of independence. They are arguably the truest of any underground hip-hop collective that exists today. The Grouch takes all these descriptive terms to new heights on "Making Perfect Sense". His lyrics and flow have reached a whole new level of self-analysis and consciousness. The production and engineering are incomparable to his past works. But most of all, the way he balances all these elements are unrivaled by his peers.

The Grouch represents what hip-hop is all about - THE STRUGGLE. Anyone can identify with The Grouch's struggles in living his life. Any listener can feel deep empathy on most of the subjects he brings forth. The Grouch does not make fluffy music of positivity. This is an album, that if you throw it in at a time when you yourself are "struggling", will shine light on the way that you are feeling, and ultimately makes you look at your situation in a completely different way. This is the soundtrack to real life.

He builds on a variety of subject matter that can be taken to heart by any one person in a unique fashion. I feel that "Struggle Baby" represents The Grouch at his most introspective. The chilling personal tales, and the tranquil beats makes capturing your ears and mind a cinch for The Grouch. The same could be said about a number of tracks on this album.

Overall, if you are looking for some real life material, look no further. I've listened to this album close to 50 times, and I'm sure I'll listen to it another 50 and beyond. It will always be one of my favorite albums of any genre. Coming from a true hip-hop head and owner of 600+ hip-hop albums, I hope that means something to the undecided buyer.

i've owned this album for a few years now and it like a lot of underground hip-hop albums still stands it's ground today. the grouch speaks truth through knowledge about life, people and the world in general. if you don't know who the grouch is, if all you've ever done is watch and listen to what is being fed to you, pick up this album and get ready to find out what substance in music is.

This album is a dope album featuring people like Eligh, P.S.C.,Murs, Scarub, Asop to Aceyalone & Abstract Rude. The Grouch fromthe living legends brings an album made for ears to listen! Check out this album!

The Grouch has blessed the underground hip hop scene with this musical masterpiece.His beats are far beyond ordinary but his lyrical content is far beyond any emcee.This album MAKES PERFECT SENSE and The Grouch makes another classic album.From start to finsih every song does it's part and gets the job done.Stand out tracks include,"Simple Man","Wish You A Good Day" & "What's It All About" feat.Aceyalone & Abstract Rude.All tracks are great and no fillers here.Cop this and all of Grouch's albums because they are all classics.

The Grouch comes through hella big on this joint. As if the mind alluring beats aren't enough he hits you off with the on the mark lyrics to pop off your top.I just say them live, and they are even better in person. It's good to see a cat like the grouch who just flows about the everyday instead of what he doesn't have or what isn't real. I can honestly say that I have never been disappointed with any of the LL Crew whether it's together or solo. The grouch is a refreshing departure from cats like Eminem, and Dre. Legends never die. I just hope they keep coming through. West Coast underground to the fullest.

Grouch is at it again with another album! This album is very good and I consider it to anyone to have in their album collection if you're a grouch fan.

ive recently started to listen to him and his crew of LL and im hooked there are some of the nicest emcees ive ever heard i say u need2 pick this up if u like LL or if ulike true underground hip hop

For those of you new to Grouch or any of the Living Legends, start here. This album is one of, if not, THE best solo hip-hop albums EVER. 90% of the beats are engineered by the Grouch, the guest emcees and DJ's are amazing, and the standout track "Simple Man" will have you nodding your head for days. Simply put: this album is a must-have for any true fan of West Coast underground hip-hop.

Dang, I can't believe I found this at the store. i only heard a little of the grouch before, so I decided to purchase this album. Well, i'm hooked on this cd. Making perfect sense takes you on a musical journey thru out the cd. He has fast beats and slow beats, his rapping is phenominal..I can't wait to buy all the rest of his albums too! Much props to the grouch for this masterpiece. Buy this cd!! Support this guy, he is just that good..
