The essays in this book, though some are better than others, are in totality useful in studying and understanding the election process during this crucial election year. I highly recommend it, not only for the political scientist (the primary targeted audience), but also for the layman interested in detailed but still very readable analyses of primaries, campaign financing and many other issues.
