This review is from: Making Sense of IBS: A Physician Answers Your Questions about Irritable Bowel Syndrome (A Johns Hopkins Press Health Book) (Hardcover)
This book is clear, thorough and detailed. It provides just enough science to help you understand what's going on -- for example, whether a medication really is proven to help or is simply often prescribed. With 2 family members experiencing symptoms,I was able to find plenty of information for each of us. It's also a comfort to read about how others are coping and how stress / anxiety can be part of the problem (or not). I wish I had read a book like this years ago and am glad I found it now.
