Most Helpful Customer Reviews

This book has been a favorite of ELT teachers for decades for three reasons.

The meaning is made very clear by humorous drawings and simple concept check questions, then consolidated by increasingly complex practices.

It is ready to use and requires little or no support or adaptation.

Students find it easy to work with and, unusually, can often use the phrasal verbs afterwards.

Martin Shovel went on to illustrate the MacMillan Dictionary of Phrasal Verbs, one of the more accessible phrasal verb dictionaries.
