5.0 out of 5 stars Really Impressed With Second Book, November 24, 2005
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Making Strides (Chestnut Hill #2) (Paperback)
This a great book, and it is about Malory who is at Chestnut Hill. I won't spoil it but Malory uses Amy's help to try to tame an abused horse, but what if it doesn't work and Malory has to give him away? This a fantastic book and worth while reading. If you are a horse lover and you don't read it you are missing out on something. If you read the first book and didn't enjoy it you will enjoy this book a lot more because Amy is in the book a lot more. All my friends will agree with me that this is a good book. So, please read this book because you'll enjoy it a lot, belive me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Chestnut Hill- Making Strides, November 12, 2005
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Making Strides (Chestnut Hill #2) (Paperback)
I LOVED this book so much! Mallory is the main character this time around. When she finds Tybalt I was sure that it was Zanziber and that it would be a story of reunitence. But it's not. Tybalt is distressed and just needs a friend (enter Mallory) Mallory trains with Amy Flemming ( join up) and Tybalt lets her ride him. Mallory and Tybalt are soon good enough to jump in a comp with the St. Kitts Boys!
- This was the BEST book, I didn't put it down!

5.0 out of 5 stars Book Worm, December 8, 2005
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Making Strides (Chestnut Hill #2) (Paperback)
This book is awesome! Iliked it more than the first. I was worried about this series because I think the last couple heartland books were kind of boring. I recomend Heartland series, All American Girl, and sisterhood of the traveling pants.

This is a great book. I think I liked the first one a tad better though. I kept wanting to start reading it in the middle of class, so when I got home I didn't put it down untill I was done. I cant wait for the third one!

5.0 out of 5 stars GOOD NEWS HEARTLAND FANS!, November 29, 2005
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Making Strides (Chestnut Hill #2) (Paperback)
Even though lauren brooke has officially ended the heartland series, which i love, heartland fans can continue writing. on fanfiction.net, they have opened up a section under "books", that allows people to write stories about heartland. so now heartland fans can write about whatever they wanted to happen in heartland! we need all heartland fans to write so that heartland will never end!

5.0 out of 5 stars You should read it!!, January 11, 2006
This review is from: Making Strides (Chestnut Hill #2) (Paperback)
I Loved this book!! It was wonderful, heart-warming and fun to read. I love horses and love to read so this was just my kind of book. The one thing I didn't like about it was that she had to have a boy friend, but they didn't make a big deal about that. So over all this was an awsome story!! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Lauren Brookes Great Book, November 25, 2005
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Making Strides (Chestnut Hill #2) (Paperback)
This is a great book. It is about Tybalt an abused horse and how Malory tries to make him into a good show jumper. Mrs. Carmichal though only will give Malory a limited time though to let Tybalt show his skill using the T-Touch(Amy Fleming's technique). You should really read this book because it is a fantastic book of horses and of Chestnut Hill

4.0 out of 5 stars A good second book, October 29, 2005
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Making Strides (Chestnut Hill #2) (Paperback)
I love horses, and I love chestnut hill. The first book was good, and lauren brooke made a good second book. I liked seeing things through malorys view because she was always so secretive. also, you learn more about lynsey.
