This review is from: Making It Through the Toughest Days of Grief (Paperback)
The author has walked the talk. The loss of her two children profoundly changed her, and she used her grief process to write a book that made me weep. Anger and guilt...very normal and very destructive when not fully felt. A favorite thought..."Verbalizing feelings is not the same as feeling the feelings." There's no easy way through grief, whether over a death or a divorce or other major loss. I appreciated the lack of a religious central focus, although she is Christian. She's a loving and generous woman. Thank you, Ms. Woodson.
