Very nice uique accessories, especially the jewelry. They look very vintage, for sure. I thought the trim for the gloves was very creative and made them (ready to wear) look like a unique vintage creation. I'm teaching my grand daughter how to sew. I ordered this book to help her get started with accessories. The projects in this book are for experienced sewers, but everything my grand daughter likes is for the experienced sewer. She'll be happy to get started on some of the more simple projects. The jewelry will be great to start with for children about 10 years old. They can be very creative with these projects and complete them if they have the supplies.

This book is going to get used so much more than that! Admittedly it is a tad advanced for beginning sewers, but the directions are clear and easy to follow as long as you have some general basic sewing knowledge. The projects are not extremely difficult but they above beginner level skills. Nice vintage look go everything in the book, cool ideas and great instructions on most of the projects. Worth buying if you are into a vintage look. Several items in the book would transfer easily into a rather steam-punk look with very little effort and just a simple change of materials/trims.

It wasn't quite what I expected. Basically ideas for purses, hats, necklaces, belts and scarves. The written instructions as while as the step by step pictures are very good. I will for sure make all eight purse patterns, however I am not into hats and necklaces, so maybe when I'm done with the book one of my daughters will be able to use it. I do love their instructions on turning rickrack into flowers and other embellishments too.

This is a great addition to my craft book collection. I have not made anything from it yet, but there are so many possibilities!
