About more than administration,

This is really a book about being and becoming a pastor at a small church. The administrative advice is good, but the parts of the book that help the reader understand small-church culture and dynamics is the real value. Many small-church pastors come out of larger congregations. Walrath gives a great orientation to ministry in this setting and the best way to move from outsider to pastor.An excellent resource.

I would liked to have receive a better overview of what the book would cover and how benefical it would be to the reader. After reading the book I will definitely give it a big thumbs up.
