5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent budgeting tool.
This book has helped me to get my finances back on track. It has easy to follow examples and a strait forward approach to paying bills. The guidelines in this book are easy for anyone to follow. It can help many people, college students, newly married, people with large debt. I highly recommend this book.

1.0 out of 5 stars Making Ends Meet???
I was extremely dissapointed when I received this book! Although the content has good potential, I felt it was overly simplified and just barely skimmed the surface of what it really takes to set up a good budget and stick to it. It did not have the depth that it could have had, to really help me through my financial situation. I would, in no way, recommend this...

As much as I spend money, I needed this as a guide to save more. This is simpistic, and easy to follow. So far in the past 3 months that I have followed the advice in this book, I have made tremendous progress in my spending patterns and saving habits. I even put some money in a CD to avoid spending it! For me, that's a miracle.

I suggest that if you want to start basic, this book is an excellent way to start.

I'm not really sure who this book is supposed to help. It came to me and it's almost as small as a brochure (14 pages of photocopied nothing!). It gives tips that someone completely clueless would even know, i.e. always pay a little something on your credit cards, set money aside, invest in your future, pay off all past due bills. If you had the money to do all of these bullet-pointed things you wouldn't need a book like this to begin with! Is this guy serious? ...On the flip side, along with this worthless "book", I got The Budget Kit by Judy Lawrence. A few dollars more but an extensive look at how to work with your money and budget what you've got with an in-depth workbook and explanation of what it takes to get you back on the road to financial stability!

This book is "old". It reads like someone wrote it in an hour and offers advice that is not complete or up to date. Good intentions but ... my copy is on its way to the thrift store!

I purchased this book with out reading the customer reviews first. That is my fault completely. But don't bother wasting your money. In fact, think of the cost of this book as money you don't have to spend. It's a waste. Completely.

I purchased this book to help get my families financing back on track. With four children, a mortgage, car payments, and the usual bills we found the material timely and functional. The easy to follow schedules and monthly planners were most beneficial to our family. I would recommend this book to any one who is truly interested in getting their finances on track.
