A flat motor housing design increases stability when changing blades Tool has an electric brake for fast stopping of the blade. Heavy gague aluminum wraparound base Ball bearing construction for longer tool life. Makes bevel cuts 0-45 degrees with a 45-degree bevel capacity of 1-3/4". The shaft lock is conveniently located for easy blade replacements. Has a technologically advanced centrifugal fan and baffle for efficent cooling of the motor. Includes a thin kerf carbide tipped blade
