I've used Makita products for years, and have always liked their performance and quality. However I was disappointed with the flashlight. The head pivots, but doesn't feel sturdy. Each time you move the head to the next position, you worry if it is going to break-off. Also, the button is difficult to press, but this may be due to the fact they have it under a rubber bonnet. I would also suggest to Makita that they begin using LED light bulbs. They would last longer, and be brighter.

The drill works great. It has a powerful motor, and precise control over your projects. I would not recommend this drill for professional use, but definitely for smaller home projects.
