The picture of this product is a Makita OEM battery, which I did not receive. As you can imagine, I was quite disappointed, paying a premium for a battery where a higher capacity non-OEM battery could be had for less money. Check with your seller if you care about this detail.

My dad wanted a new battery for his drill for Father's Day. I looked everywhere for one and they just don't carry them in stores anymore because they are for such an old product. I found the battery on Amazon and purchased it for my dad. He was so happy. It worked perfectly and will allow him to use his favorite drill for another decade!

I was using the drill and saw that I inherited from my father. The batteries that came with it did ok, but they were probably at least 10 years old. When I got this new battery I noticed the difference right away. Much faster rpm's. Charged up no problem.

Worth the price to buy the factory battery. I brought an off brand a couple of months back and it was useless after about 10 charges. The Makita battery is still running strong after about a year's use.

This battery replacement is holding a good charge and seems to work as well as the original battery that came with the drill.

New battery makes my old Makita act like it's brand new. What more do I need to say.

I've had my Makita cordless drill for >15 years with excellent service. In the past year or two, on battery wouldn't take a full charge and the other seemed to run-down quicker than in the good 'old days. I purchased 2 batteries and have given my drill new life for less than a new drill. I'm very pleased with the purchase.
