the impact driver is great, smooth control and variable speed, everything you'd expect.
But I'm not writing to tell you about the impact driver. I bought this two weeks ago and didn't get the bonus drill, after many emails and various people trying to tell me I didn't see this offer in Toolcrib catalog #505 (they even tried telling me the offer expired 12.31.04 and hadn't been publicised since then) all I got was a poor $20 coupon for my time and in an attempt to retain my business. Amazon shouldn't sell tools, they are a bookshop. So I kept the driver as it's already earning me money and was going to let the whole thing go, but amongst the lies I was told it was said that the offer would be removed from the website to prevent other people getting ripped off, and yet here it still is. |
