Strong magnets,

This review is from: Makita 784810-A-A 4-5/8-Inch Bit Tip Holder and 3-1/8-Inch Bit Tip Holder with #2 Phillips Bit Tip and Slotted Bit Tip (Tools & Home Improvement)
I've gone through a few of these lately looking for one with a good magnet. I install car radios and dropping screws is such a pain and time waster. My Black and Decker tip holder and my Dewalt tip holder don't do a very good job, and the sleeves tend to slip down a lot. I got these and the magnet is so strong it even affects my nut drivers some, saving me from having to go buy really expensive magnetic sockets. It pulls bits in hard also so they don't get pulled out when you're in the middle of a job. If you have a Makita drill go ahead and drop the money on these. My 9.6v Makita drill's chuck is pretty shallow, so these fit much better than other brands or no name ones that come with bit sets.

What I Really Needed Istalling Cabinets Was the 3 1/8 Holder.
Both Are Nice With Sleeves That Don't Spin With The Holder.

These are fantastic and work great, they are everything I expect from a makita product. It's great having two now that I use multiple guns and don't have to switch them all the time, and the different lengths are helpful as well.

The 2 finder/drivers that come this package are great. Makes driving screws with a drill much easier as it guides the screw and the bit together. The magnet is a good addition, it's almost like a helping hand on certain jobs.

I use these constantly. So far the sleeve stays in place (doesn't slide on it's own). If you haven't used one before - get one! I have had Dewalt in the past. Either one is fine for normal projects. The Dewalt was a champ when I was building decking all day with 3" skrews. I have not pushed Makita to the limits yet.

This product is okay, but not often very useful. I find that only one of the phillips head bits actually fits nearly all screws, though I suppose the skinny and fat ones may be occasionally useful.
