This is probably the best single accessory you can own to go with your cordless drill. With Makita's UltraLoc, you can snap bits in and out with speed and ease. Makita's attention to quality on this accessory is second to none ... in fact I use the UltraLoc with a non-Makita drill. I love it!

I've been working with this set for a couple years now and it has held up well. Very quick bit/ driver changes and great makita quality (I also have a quick change black and Decker set which is not nearly as beefy/ solid). Only complaint is the inside of the case is cheap-- the plastic tray is pretty flimsy. But most of the time I keep the parts as the "default" on my drill anyway. You might want to do yourself a favor and get the bigger set-- I wish I did!

The whole concept behind a cordless drill in the first place is convenience and usability, so when I recently purchased my Makita on Amazon this was the next thing added to my cart.

No complaints so far and none expected ... the UltraLoc system offers an unbeatable combination of speed, ease of use and quality. The product description says it all: simply pull and release. Repeat as needed. The ultimate in plug and play!

My only (minor) gripe is that it would have been nice to have included a couple more bits and/or sockets, but there's more than enough here to cover most jobs.

Whether you're building homes or just living in one, you can't go wrong with this rugged, yet affordable solution. Best of all, you'll never have to waste another second fumbling around your toolbox for a key chuck again.

The drilling and driving set is well constructed. I dont care the selection of bits and feel it could be more useful if it included a countersink attachment or countersink-equipped drill bits. I also agree that the inner black plastic is quite flimsy.

Still, its a good quality set.

I think everyone should own a ultralok set,! This set is pretty convenient for small jobs, because you don't have to carry around a huge case to every job. It fits allot of bits from My 200 bit set, so if you need to take additional pieces from your bigger set, or swap any pieces in the Makita set with other bits, it comes very handy, both for your drill, and for you,. Buy it and see for your self!

Phillips head driver broke immediately. When I called Makita they said the drill bits and drivers aren't covered by a warranty and they refused to replace it. To me this set has been little more than an expensive piece of junk and Makita clearly won't stand behind their product which was really surprising. I will never buy Makita bits again. I like their drills and other tools but not this product.

There's some slop in the mechanism, which I didn't expect, but it seems to do the job well enough, and it's quite convenient.

Very handy kit, makes it easy to finish a job quickly without having to look for the right bits.
