This 4-1/2" angle grinder has an exclusive labyrinth construction that seals the motor and bearings from contamination. The 9554NB features a switch that is conveniently located on the top of the motor housing; a small circumference barrel grip for easy handling, a high power-to-weight ratio and a double insulated motor. A spindle lock makes for easy wheel changes and the side handle can be installed on either side of tool. Kit includes grinding wheel, wrench, side handle, flange, wheel guard and tool case.

This grinder has been over worked for the past year and a half! I purchased it at one of the big box retailers. Like others have said this grinder is small enough to give one a fantastic one-handed grip. I'm a six foot 210 pound man and this thing is perfect one handed.
I forge as a hobby and spend about 20-25 hours a weekend and this grinder is used or removing material and polishing finished product. This is highly recommended, just like all of my other Makita power tools.

Another benefit is the costumer service I received. The handle on the case broke on me and Makita made sure to send me a replacement within the week.
